Don't take their kids away but they shouldn't be allowed to attend public school until they get their shots

Yeah... and in some states I believe that is the case. The issue is that some school age children can't get certain vaccines or have yet to be vaccinated, and are at serious risk of being infected by others whose parents have chosen to forgo vaccinations. Much of the wariness regarding vaccines has arisen from a study published in the late 1990s that connected vaccines to autism, but it has since been heavily debunked as non-scientific and unfounded. However, the fear that spread as a result of the study and the subsequent resistance to vaccinations has led to the resurgence of polio and measles in the US for instance - two diseases that were practically wiped out here. The close confines of classrooms and school hallways are some of the worst places imaginable for avoiding an outbreak.

I'm cautious about taking away the right of any parent to make decisions about their child's health and well being, but at some point, we're going to need to prioritize the health of children over the recalcitrance of ignorant parents. There was a story not too long ago about a young boy that contracted tetanus while playing on his family's farm (https://www.nbcnews.com/health/kids-health/unvaccinated-boy-almost-died-tetanus-hospital-bill-was-more-800-n981256). He was given a tetanus vaccine and a cocktail of antibodies to address the illness, yet after nearly dying and being on a ventilator in the ICU for several weeks, and then going to rehab, his parents still refused any additional vaccines, including a tetanus booster.

I think the guy who wrote it lost his license and other researchers proved the study was based on fraudulent data. Not sure if he went to jail for it but he should have

Al Gore admitted he used fraudulent data about climate change, and then claimed such practices are justifiable in order to 'create awareness.'

I suppose you want him in jail as well?

Or is it... they only go to jail for such things if yours and their views don't align?

Im not sure how you charge someone for spreading bad information that isnt slander against individuals but if you could...I think its reasonable to prosecute someone who contributes to the resurgence of nearly eliminated diseases before someone being disingenuous about the weather. If I had to pick one or the other I mean.

Have you ever talked to one of these people? They're conspiracy theorists at heart. There's no discussion to be had with them. They'll try to sucker you by claiming to trust the science but they don't trust the companies or the fda or the process... and the list goes on.

It's like talking to a hardcore gun person who acknowledges we have a gun problem, but...
