What a pain in the but ,
My accountant screwed up , and his statement was I should of checked his work !!
If I were to do that WHY WOULD I NEED HIM.

2 years of amendments and a boat load of crap from IRS as well as the state , plus more money down the crapper.

Yesterday was some reprieve from the IRS ... they were nice to me.

Make a stink about it. If he has an employer, appeal to that person. How did you pay? If you paid by credit card, most card companies will go after businesses on your behalf if you have a good case. You certainly should not have to pay for amended taxes if your accountant made mistakes. You should have reviewed his work, but that's not a good enough excuse for him to weasel out of making things right free of any additional fees.

I am suspecting it won't get resolved till 2020.

I always tell my accountant that if he ****s up, be prepared to get ****ed up.

Magically I haven't had any problems from this yes man. Go figure. :pimp:
