For the first time since its creation, James was not the No. 1 player on ESPN’s (https://www.espn.com/nba/story/_/id/27698894/ranking-nba-best-players-giannis-kawhi-very-top) annual #NBARank. Him and Anthony Davis have been constantly undersold in favor of Kawhi Leonard and Paul George.

Now, the disrespect James tour continues with the NBA’s annual GM survey and it starts at the small forward position — one that James has been in complete control of his entire career. Now, he is no longer being given that crown as general managers feel that Leonard is a better small forward, via John Schuhmann of NBA.com (https://www.nba.com/gmsurvey/2019):

Who is the best small forward in the NBA?

1. Kawhi Leonard, LA Clippers — 62%

2. LeBron James, L.A. Lakers — 24%

3. Giannis Antetokounmpo, Milwaukee — 14%

Last year: LeBron James — 57%

He got votes as best point guard and power forward as well. Kinda split the results it seems but I dont think it was more than about 12 total of the voters who had him as best anything though as always its hard to say because as they put it:

Percentages are based on the pool of respondents to that particular question, rather than all 30 GMs.

Giannis also got votes for best 3, 4, and 5.

Yea it's amazing that people have been saying he was the best at his position for that long. haha. It had to end sometime. Best player in the league tho, eh. If Giannis didn't bum out in the olympics, he might have taken 2nd spot.

GMs still fuming that Lebron held all the cards and had AD force his way out of New Orleans. :lol

Guarantee if a gun was held to their head and they wanted one small foward for this season it would be Lebron.

He was no longer the best SF since 2018, Durant dethroned him in the NBA finals series.

Durant dominated Lebron in 2017 and 2018 Finals, and if doing it once in 2017 is a fluke, then repeating the same dominance in 2018 again proves that it

Sports Illustrated (https://www.si.com/nba/top-100-nba-players-2020#10-1) recently placed LeBron No. 3 on their top 100 players in the NBA list. For the first time since 2013, the start date of the ranking, James is not on top. It

Kawhi and KD were both better last year so it's no surprise.

Even Real GM doesn't have Lebron as top 2 player. link (https://forums.realgm.com/boards/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=1871694) and link (https://forums.realgm.com/boards/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=1869414)

When healthy Durant and kawhi are HOF younger players....

Lebron has been the best a long time. No surprise hes not the best.

I still think motivated bron is still better than harden Giannis and anyone not named durant or kawhi..even kawhi isnt above and away better than him.
