Who would decimate who more in their respective formats, and would the gap be closed or widen if you swapped rules:

90s rules
MJ and Curry are each others defensive assignments, who eviscerates who more? Project their stat lines. My guess is Curry would damn near be ineffective while MJ would go off for 40-55 without even realizing Curry was anything beyond a decent outside shooter if left open. Which MJ might realize after seeing Curry sink 2 or 3 from deep before tightening up or roughing up his defense on him.

Modern rules
Same thing - do the tables turn since Curry's bread and butter is basically what the NBA switched its rules to favor? That's what I'm really curious about, Curry is now the one who could go off for 40-55... would MJ still be able to go off like that in the modern format as well though? He'd be making 3 point plays the "hard way" by today's standard (trying to get to the line off And-1's) while Curry would effortlessly pour them in from 30 feet out as he does since the defense (MJ in this scenario) now can't touch him.

What do you guys think?
