Hes about as similar as youre gonna get. Who is the next closest current comparison? Lillard maybe?

People have been down on Kyrie after the last couple years. Hes not up where he was respect wise. Hes hanging around Kembas level I guess even if he is a notch up in talent. No need to make one night out to be major. The night Kemba had 60 last year Kyrie had 20....

Tier wise they arent far apart though Kyrie is an all timer from an offensive skill standpoint. I maintain there may not be 3 people in history with his handles, finishing, and shooting. But it doesnt really come together impact wise it seems.

The Hornets wouldnt have been good with Kyrie in Kembas place last year and the Celtics wouldnt have done much if any worse with Kemba. 49 wins with good talent and losing in 5 in the second round?

Thats not the highest hurdle to leap.

They’re both 0-1.

Homeless man's Kyrie

That is not too far from the truth and Ive seen a lot from both of them. It seems like Kyrie gonna suprise a lot of folks this year, even tho Ive seen this coming.

Kyrie is a superior scorer, playmaker and defender. Kemba can chuck the 3 efficiently at a high volume but Irvings' been close to a 50/40/90 scorer the past few seasons and showed he could actually play point guard last season.

Irving had a terrible shooting series vs Milwaukee but you'll see him have a lot more impact on his team this season than he did under Stevens. This Nets squad has a lot of young talent and great perimeter shooting, I wouldn't be surprised if they finished top 4 in the East.

Similar talents

Obviously Kemba's intangibles (and Kyries lack thereof) is what separates them

I'm new here but I'm already starting to realize who are the high IQ posters and who are the low IQ posters. TS needs to start producing some banger threads otherwise he will be in the low IQ bucket, meanwhile you are safely placed in the high IQ bucket.

10-1 with Kanter instead of Horford. No Baynes either.

I doubt the Celtics or their fans are missing Kyrie.
