looking at these nutriders wear Lakers hats and LeBron jerseys IN BROOKLYN after the shit Kyrie pulled last night and it hit me: The casual fan stans LeBron James.
This was exactly what it was like in the 90's when Jordan ruled. Except everyone loved Jordan and James has, seemingly, more detractors due to his team hopping and 'Decision' antics.
Jordan was never seen as a villain or villainized. He was untouched.
But for these kids and these Gen Y dudes (and dudettes), LeBron has been dominating so long, they know no one else. And with media mindscape shrinking the world, they think this dude is their guy. The localization aspect of the casual fan is weaker than ever. They are watching mostly the games that are the 'featured' games and lo and behold those are, for the last 20 years, mostly LeWOng SHames games.
So I guess that's what it is, it's annoying as hell but we gotta deal with it and be at peace with it.
LeWong Shames is this generation's Michael JorWong.
A toast to Shames. Selling mad sneakers and employing a hell of a lot of chinese factory workers.

yeah they played me physical when I was there - I felt like I was back in Indiana
and hell yeah Miami and Cali are soft as a grape, but Cali guys are always developing the next level of handle and jumpshooting ability (finesse game), kind of like NY, but NY is physical too with post fundamentals and physicality, like the Midwest... NYC the mecca of hoops no doubt - the best of everything

Surface level basketball player for surface level sheeple. Why do you think guys like Beverley hate him, he fking digs through dirt to get where he's at and gets no credit for it when he wins.
