How badly has quitting on Los Spurs tarnished Kawhi

I mean that whole fiasco was a really bad look.

He basically got shook when the Spurs veterans fell off, and demanded a trade. He was lucky to get traded to a stacked Raptors team the same year LeHercules leaves the conference. Then he runs crying to the Clipper begging them to trade for PG so he can have a superteam?

Just... not the kind of approach winners typically take. If you notice, guys like Lebron, Duncan, Dirk, KG etc always play out their contracts. Malcontents like Kobe, CP3, Kawhi etc always have an excuse why they need to be traded to an easier situation.

I know this is a troll thread, but i'll bite.

As much as I hate Kawhi for the way he handled his last year at the Spurs, its not really a legacy tarnish.

Unlike LeRoid, he didn't run away because things got too hard...he ran away because Uncle Dennis became his agent and wanted him home in LA - because it is home, and because of the bigger market.

Clippers look to be one of the finest complimentary rosters to be assembled, looking on paper and after 2 games, are proving that but...it's been 2 games.

We'll see how PG factors in, they look to be the team for sure. We'll see how it's going after the All-Star break. I'll tell you one thing, if they are without Beverly for an extended period of time, they lose much of that psychological bully advantage
