Those teams had opportunities to win and they choked when it mattered. The Kings gave up a wide open Horry 3 which kept the Lakers alive in the series. They played a Game 7 at home and got all the calls in the 4th and missed a wide open corner three to win the series, not to mention the bullshit foul they called on Kobe to get it to OT.

There were some bad calls on Wade but it's not as bad as people claim it to be. Rules were changed just 2 years before the Finals and Wade exploited them to his advantage by constantly attacking the paint, the Mavs weren't a great defensive team, Kobe I believe had 25 FTs in 3 quarters when he outscored them 62 to 61 by himself.

Most teams screwed in a close game will have had opportunities.

Its irrelevant.

Other, vast majority of opportunities were taken away from them which in all likelihood would have propeled a W.

How many bad calls are we talking? Are you saying no bad calls went against the Lakers? It goes both ways.

So they didn't call a phantom foul on Kobe with the Lakers up 100 - 98 at the end of the 4th quarter of Game 7 to get it to OT?

As far as Game 6 goes, Kings shot worse from the FT line than Shaq, Peja missed two FTs in the 4th of Game 6, airballed a wide open corner 3 with 13 seconds left in the 4th that could have won them Game 7, you can't blame it all on the refs when the Kings made critical errors in many close games in that series.
