People been sharing this clip of DSJ stepping into a long 2 instead of shooting an open 3.

Last year DSJ had a promising start on Mavs, but notably refused to play second fiddle to Luka, apparantly thinking he was some kind of superstar. He was the direct reason that Deandre Jordan and Wes Matthews got traded as well. Those two seemed to agree and tried to make DSJ the man instead of Luka.
Now DSJ can't even get off the bench in NYK, 1 point in 4 minutes last game.
I don't know what to make of this, except actually I do. The premium for athletcism is way oversold in the NBA. DSJ is athletic but really low bball IQ. Look at how Delon Wright is flourishing next to Luka now. He gonna get paid. If DSJ wasn't an egomaniac, he would have taken on that role.
