I don't know how anyone can say this with a straight face. It's almost impossible to gaurd anyone anymore. Teams can't even gaurd a simple pick and roll anymore because your not allowed fighting through screens or it's a foul. So instead of fighting through screens teams have to either double the ball where the offensive player just passes out of it for an open shot for the screener or they double the screener/roller and leave the ball handler open for an easy shot. The other option is to switch but most times it's a big screening for a gaurd so if you switch than you have a mismatch where the faster gaurd can iso the slower big and put him on skates.

This is all clear as day dude. It's not even arguable.

Defense has caught up to offense. You cant spam pnr mismatches as easy...guys are comfortably switching.

They're calling illegal screens tighter this year. That's was a big part of why you couldn't go over anymore. It may return as a viable option if they keep calling fouls on the screener.
