he IS the greatest athlete since the year 2000. only usain bolt and phelps have a case. maybe messi brady or ronaldo.

Brady is barely athletic. LeBron is the GOAT athlete of all time in any sport. His skill/mental toughness/etc are lacking enough that he shouldn't fall too high on any all-sport greatness list (not top 25), but in terms of GOAT athlete, are we really going to say Bo Jackson or some modern elite WR or something is a better athlete than LeBron? I don't think so.

If we're talking athleticism, then yes, he might actually be the GOAT, not just since 2000.

But actually the greatest athlete in terms of how much he dominated his sport? Michael Phelps, Tiger Woods, Usain Bolt, and Serena Williams are easily better. Thats just individual sports though and I don't think its really fair to compare.

Teams sports though, Tom Brady is easily greater. We can talk about all the nuances about how the sports are too different and how much more Brady has to rely on his teammates for his success, but IMO his longevity and winning is way too much to put him below Lebron.

There is a certain 6"6 guard who jumps higher (4 inch vertical leap advantage) and has a quicker 100 and 200 yard dash. Lebron isn't even the most athletic player right now (that's westbrook) nevermind the most athletic player ever (Jordan has him beaten in almost every metric). Nevermind athlete in general.
