View Full Version : What Happened to the Warriors Being Light Years Ahead, Joe Lacob?

"He's part of the perfect storm," Iguodala says of Lacob. "New ownership [comes in with the attitude], 'I want to win.' Tastes success very early, so he's all in. That's the gift because he will go to whatever lengths to keep this thing going. But he hasn't experienced the real NBA yet. I'll leave it at that."

It's only 2-3 games in, but this is going to be a LONG season for the Warriors. It's being referred to as blasphemy if someone says the Warriors aren't making the playoffs.

I literally can't name half the roster members on this team without going on BB Reference. Here's the reality.

1. Klay Thompson is not playing this season and even if he was, he's not Superman. "Wait until March-April when they make the playoffs." Playoffs? Playoffs?

2. Stephen Curry is in his prime, but he has a lot more mileage on him. He's not 2016 Curry. "He peaked in OKC." He's not a spring chicken. He's a "small" PG who plays average defense.

3. Draymond Green. Likewise. He's getting old.

4. Livingston Retired.

5. They traded Igoudala.

6. D'Angelo Russell is an "All-Star."

7. No rim protection.

8. 90% of the roster are G-leaguers.

9. Where's that gravity again?

10. Strength in numbers is no more and no more KD.

538 still has them with a higher chance of making the playoffs and finals than the Lakers. WTF? The Warriors are done.

LMAO

With a healthy team they still have 3.5 all-stars and would not only make the playoffs but contend for the title. How are the Warriors without Klay for the entire season and now Curry injured even Warriors? Sure the team still has the same name but some people on this forum are plain stupid because it doesn't even look like trolling.

Maybe they will do a Spurs-like tank job now that Steph is hurt. They could get a top draft pick and then get healthy and be in the finals next year.

The bandwagon just left SF on it's way to LA.

They're playing 4D chess. Tank this season since their team is depleted, then come back next season stronger than ever
