Just because he's doing great over there does not mean his good in the NBA. Remember Anthony Parker? Not Tony Parker but Anthony Parker? He was like a multiple Euroleague MVP/Finals MVP but was a role player at best in the NBA. Don't even get me started on Spanoulis.

So yes they play more defense in Europe but it is also easier to play defense. Nonathletic shooters in Europe are protected defensively by the rules (hand checking allowed, no 3 seconds in the paint) which makes it more of a team defense. In the NBA players like Jimmer, while they can score, are too much of liability on defense.

The Greek League is trash compared to the Euroleague (and obviously even worse compared to the NBA)
If Jimmer was that good he'd be playing more. I mean, his team is 2-2, one would expect his coach to play a dominating guard in order to be better than that.
