No one would sign him.
Kobe could be decapitated and the Lakers would still give him 1yr/$20m. Even if the rest of the league wouldn't give him the mle.
LA was loyal to the man even when his career was obviously over. I can't think of another franchise to show that kind of loyalty to a player other than the Mavs and Spurs.

Kobe Bryant Says He'd Like to be Traded
At the end of the show, Stephen A. Smith asks: "Is there ANYTHING the Los Angeles Lakers can do to get you to remain with the organization?"
And Bryant responds: "No, bro."
"The hard way"

He forced his FO to make a trade, something great players do in that situation. They wasted 3 years of his prime.
Lebron on the other hand ditched his team THREE TIMES without saying anything.

Yea, the Lakers would choose Kobe over Danny Green at this stage. :hammerhead:

That's my GOAT
He won a ring averaging 15 ppg on 36% shooting in the finals. His rings were won anything but the hard way:lol
He was carried by Shaq while playing like a scrub.

How did the Lakers get into the Finals? He averaged 20 ppg in the full games he did play, he closed out a road game with Shaq fouled out and he closed out Game 6. Are we going to mention the game-saving block against Portland, or him leading the Lakers in points, rebounds, assists AND blocks in a Game 7 where he had the go-ahead FTs, the shot over Pippen to put the Lakers up 4 and crossover on Pippen with the lob to Shaq to seal the game?

Very INTERESTINGLY:lol
what does that have to do with him averaging 15 ppg on 36% while being carried to a title:lol

Wade at this point of their career is better than Kobe.

Like most all time greats, Shaq needed his role players to step up at times. Just like LeBron needed Chalmers to hit big shots or Ray Allen to drop that 3. Or how like MJ needed Kerr or Paxson to hit key shots. It

If Kobe liked getting rings the hard way he would of won some with Charlotte. The team that was supposed to have Kobe in the first place.

He was one of the worst players in the league his last few seasons. Who would even want him?

Kobe won rings with a soft euro big, a crack addict and a bunch of role players.

35% shooting 4 years ago. Can you imagine how bad he'd be now?:lol

The Qing fans low key crying in this thread.
Laser shot into their feeble hearts.
Lovely to see. Salivating their tears telepathically.

There’s not a single team in the league that would play him during crunch time.

[QUOTE=RRR3]There
Kobe won rings with a soft euro big, a crack addict and a bunch of role players.
Curry won rings with a twitter addict, a pothead and a donkey.
LeBron won a ring with an insane conspiracy theorist, the worst defensive big ever, and an alcoholic.
See how easy that is?
They'd play him ahead of Lebron in the big moments.
Wrong account. This is your Kobe hater account, remember?

Yeah going b2b with Pau Gasol is the same as doing it with a 73 win team. :oldlol: Good comparison.

Did I say it was the same?
No, I clearly made the connection that Kobe's statement is as laughable as KDs.

Why don't you guys have a look at the trash laker roster from 08-10. Kobe got the best out of those poor scrubs, pau hasn't sniffed a playoff win before or anything meaningful after he left the lawd mamba:cheers:

What he's actually thinking: "I don't want to embarrass myself even worse than I did in my last season."
Hey Yo
10-31-2019, 10:46 AM
The hard way would have been letting NJ draft him, then see if him and coach Cal could build a contender together over the years.
Instead, he demanded to play for the 2nd most successful franchise in NBA history plus knew damn well Shaq was going to sign there that off-season.

Yeah a 17 year old had the connects to know Shaq was going to dip Orlando and sign with Lakers and then had the pull to pick teams. A highschooler of MASSIVE power and pull in the NBA
