Yeah, I've always found this funny. The stans can't handle each other, but LeBron and Kobe have always had the utmost respect for one another.

Well even if LeBron is somehow gifted another finals appearance, he's only got a 33% chance of winning another ring... and he won't be THE GUY on the team to do it anyway.

Kobe's legacy is safe. LeBron's is only getting worse with each passing year; 6 finals losses won't look good on his resume. Dude WILL be remember as a glorified Jerry West.

You guys are missing what I'm saying.

I'm sure Lebron and Kobe are great friends, and have incredible respect for each other. From one champion to another.

But there's 1 thing Kobe wanted more than anything else: to be better than MJ, and by virtue, to be the GOAT.

Kobe, who is generally regarded as being below Lebron in all-time rankings, has his LA rings. Having Lebron get this too is all I'm asking.
