the whole starting lineup in double figures. Yeah they are not shooting as well as they should but they also don't have Kyrie to just chuck them out of the game. We will win a lot more games this year just because of that. :pimp:

facts on top of facts. Jaylen isn't a ball stopper like kyrie. Have no idea why he brought him up :oldlol:

Kemba is a lot better of a fit for their regular season team oriented playstyle but Kemba won't be able to take over when it counts on pure isolation when nothing else is working.

Honestly though they are fun to watch without Kyrie.

Irving didn't either, at least not for the celtics in the playoffs.

Walker is not as talented but so far the team seems to have better chemistry. It's only been a few games but we aren't getting all the stories about the locker room being toxic that we got last season. Not sure that was all Irving's fault but do far that's just a fact.

Has it really? Isn't tatum averaging 20 on like 50 TS%?

People don't remember the celtics offense looked great at times in 2017 and 2018, bt they just ultimately weren't good enough.

I think there's a lot of confirmation bias going around now. There was a lot of ball movement last year, which is why Kyrie's usage rate wasn't that high.

We'll see how it goes the rest of the year, i always loved Kemba

That was a solid win for the Celtics yesterday. A new hope for Boston.

Yeah, because Tatum, Brown and Hayward regressed. They had a top 10 offense and were 7th in 3-Point shooting. They lost a lot of close games. Before you give me the "Celtics were 12 - 3 without Irving", they sat him out against all the bad teams, Sixers and Jazz the only good teams they played in those 15 games(1-1 in those), the rest were just bad teams. Stevens kept playing Hayward big minutes but he couldn't hit threes, I think that took a lot of minutes/touches away from Brown and Tatum, who were upset about it.

lol Hayward didn't take any touches away from either. Did you even watch any Celtics games? Most of the time they just ignored Hayward. Tatum regressed because he played like an idiot for most of the season. He just wanted to settle for contested mid range jumpers all season long. Also, a big problem with Tatum is he just didn't attack. I saw this stat yesterday about the amount of times Celtic players are driving this season as opposed to last season and last season Hayward was still SECOND with 5.8 drives per game. Tatum was only taking 5.7 and Brown 5.6. The guy coming back from a devastating injury who looked like he couldn't even move well half the time was driving more than these young guys.
