Will he be an All-Star this year? How long can he keep up these outrageous numbers for? Is it his turn to win 6MOTY over teammate Lou Williams?

Discuss.

Trezz is amazing. His energy and hustle is something other players wish they had.

Credit is due, it is fun to watch Montrezl.

One of the hardest worker, with Patrick Beverly.

They will be on another level when PG start playing

Definitely my favorite player right now. I hope the Clippers don't lose him this Summer.

they're gonna shit on teams in the playoffs.

lou, beverly, harrell, and kawhi are all extremely competitive guys so I think we're gonna see some huge lopsided wins for the clippers in the playoffs, like 40-point beatdowns

He's Enes Kanter tier defensively so who cares

He is going to be a free agent next season
How much will he get paid in the free agent market??

He's a monster. Averaging 19 ppg still and gets no plays run for him either. He could easily average 20+.

Will be interesting to see what happens in the summer with him.

Honestly we are super lucky. With the likely huge cap reduction+fact that bigmen aren't exactly hot commodities right now, we MAY just be able to retain him for cheap. Teams will be hesitant to spend big money until cap situation stabilizes. I think if none of this happened... some desperate team for a big would of thrown 18-22 mill a year at him or something.

I love Trez to death. I was one of the first to bangwagon him years ago (his first year with us). I made multiple threads on the web about him blowing up eventually and got laughed at. That being said, the team has a weird dynamic right now that's caused me to get a bit burned out on Trez. Doc has this HORRIBLE habit you've likely noticed.. where he will play Trez the ENTIRE 2nd half, or damn near. He REFUSES to play Zubac later in games, even if we need his rim defense and Trez is playing bad. Trez is a great 6th man... and even overall a really nice player. He's being used poorly though.

He's more of a specialist. Post scorer, chase down blocks and energy... but defensively he just isn't anywhere close to the anchor Zubac is this year. I also think Harrell struggles to mesh with Kawhi (Zubac is Kawhi's favorite partner on the court). So... I think Trez stays and he's the heart and soul of our team with Bev. I just hope Doc stops playing him 15+ straight minutes to end games. It makes him get tired, hurts our defense bad and doesn't allow us to see Zubac's true potential defensively (he's like #2 or #3 this year in rim defense stats).

As I said above.. Trez was gonna get around 18-20 mill a year IMO, but with new cap reductions+the situation luckily he may be able to be retained for closer to 10 a year hopefully.

Jeeez I forgot they got Zubac too....

smh. Yeah, he doesn't get enough playing time. I like it though.

Trez playing a lot of minutes vs the Lakers would be a disaster. Like he will seriously hemorrhage points in the paint to AD/Lebron over the course of a series. He needs to be used in spurts and not close games as much. What Doc doesn't seem to see is Kawhi plays WAY better with Zubac on the court. He gets better screens, knows how to find Zubac on the roll easily and Zubac is a great backline defender if someone gets by. Harrell is more of an isolation scorer who often gets beat for easy buckets. Against teams like the Lakers/Bucks in a series.. that will kill you.
