His 3 point attempts have steadily gone up every year nothing to do with "Bran ball" that's just how the league operates now, everyone needs to be able to shoot and space the floor or you're a liability

Saw it every single season LeBron has ever played - he hates traditional big men. ALWAYS tries to force them into becoming spot up shooters. He'll give them the odd pick and roll at best but he HATES to let them have time to operate in the post, he wants the lanes cleared for his "running down hill" stiff arm play and he wants them waiting on the wing for when the defense collapses on him. It isn't good basketball IMO as it doesn't make his teammates better at what they do. He tries to make teammates conform to him instead of trying to conform to his teammates.

The amount of minutes LeBron drains the clock at the top of the 3 point line waiving his teammates away from the paint >>>>>> the amount of minutes Davis will be allowed to operate in the post playing LeBronball. I'm just sharing facts

Career low FG% - by a mile - from 3-10 feet (35%) and from 10-16 feet (27%). (his career averages are 43% for both including all his formative years)
Looks to me like he is feeling pressure from LeBron draining of the shot clock (as LeBron always does).
It's not a number of touches thing it's the fact that Lebron - as the primary ball handler - doesn't understand how big men play. They need the shot clock time for themselves, so they can assess the situation after the entry pass and THEY need to be the ones to use a second chance kick-out if necessary.
Lebronball is; he dominates the ball at the top of the 3 point line draining the shot clock before he makes decisions. That's how he plays. He doesn't change the way he plays for other players he makes other players adjust to him. He's turned Davis' post-up game into a hastily jacked up clink show with no time for Davis to operate properly or look to kick it back out if it doesn't feel right.
At the same time as this thread mentions Davis is attempting the most 3PA per game in his entire career BUT he's still also clanking those. 22% vs his career 31% Why? Same exact reason. He's not getting his touches within the flow of his own game, many of these are spot up shots off of LeBrons 50mph bailout passes. With no shot clock left for anything better.
Go ahead and write this off as rhetoric.

They gave AD the ball early in the shot clock and force fed him earlier in the season. It didn’t work.

You haven't watched a single Lakers game, did you Chokerlain stan?
There's a reason why you've been relegated to alts. You're a worthless turd with zero basketball knowledge.
I will, because you didn’t mention Davis’s game whatsoever. You gave his FG% and then completely assumed something that isn’t there.
The the career-long knock on Davis, and what has prevented him from being a true BITW candidate, is his relative inability to create in one-on-one scenarios (whether it be for himself or others). He excels as a play-finisher. Put-backs, midrange, and in transition in particular.
Furthermore, his FT rate is significantly higher than his career high thus far. This means he’s getting the ball in favorable position for himself/stressful ones for the defense.
Shooting %’s can be misleading in a 6 game sample. The nature of his touches and FT rate are far more indicative of how his game is going.
He’s been incredibly effective and if this keeps up it will be the best season of his career.
