One of the greatest albums I've ever heard and easily one of the best of this generation.

I don't say that lightly, this album is a masterpiece that will please any music fan's ears. From hip hop heads, to rock heads, to soul heads, to alt heads, it's brilliant in every way.

It's a throwback to classics without trying to be, but with a modern feel.

What do you get when you mix the soul of Al Green and Ottis, with the soulful/grooves of Quincy and Isaac Hayes with some Pink Floyd and Radiohead thrown in?

Shit is music for the soul and the brain, makes your feet tap.

Album starts with this funky soulful throwback

Almost every track in this album is movie worthy, you're gonna listen to these songs for years to come in films, commercials, video games etc.

Here's a small throwback of a gem. What if Otis sang with Pink Floyd?

Here ya go

Listened to Cold Little Heart, sounds ok, gonna have to give it another listen later with headphones to really do the song justice but the thing I was most impressed by was that the singer and the rythmn guitarist are probably the only two young black guys to have picked up a guitar since the late 80s...shame because blacks have a great legacy with that instrument.

I knew immediately the first track was going to be some basic tune with a choir like singing over it. It's overdone in this generation.

Very similar to how the early 2000s every ducking pop star had at least one song where they dropped a "no, no, nooo, yea yeaaaa"

I can't be the only one hearing this pattern?

Got to Hero, the album is supreme. The production is amazing, it's like if pink Floyd and Kanye West adopted and raised a 12 year old guzheng player, and she decided to make an album after growing up. This is the album.

What's wrong with you pups?

Royal Trux's White Stuff. Better than Twin Infinitives - but no Untitled.

A basic tune with a choir singing over it? You’ve been hearing it since:
