With all the Load Management he does, I can't see him ever winning it. In this situation, even if Clips end up with the first seed, there'll be proof that it WASN'T because of Kawahi.
In addition, they won't be first seed if they lose every game Kawahi sits out, since that'll be 1/4 the season.
Can the league force a player to play? Even if the coach agrees to sit him out, for rest?
Maybe the league can enact a minimum-games-played-if-healthy rule to discourage this. I'm sure fans waiting to see Clips Bucks will be pissed.
What if he pulls this for Christmas Day?

It's almost a certainty that Kawahi won't ever win MVP.
However, Kawhi Leonard most definitely will.

True.
His legacy will be known for coasting with the Spurs dynasty and colluding with the #1 seed raptors.

I agree, unless Load Management becomes a thing that all star players do. That could become a thing, they way that the Raptors conserved Kawhi during the regular season last your only to have him detonate during the playoffs will certainly have other players and teams reevaluating how much rest a player needs for optimal performance.

Toronto had a better record without Kawhi last year and no one talks about it. let me find that thread.

Interesting....
Same can be said for Joel now that he is following the Kawhi model.
It does bring up the question that if either of their teams has a noticeably better record than the rest of the league can they still win it being the best players on their teams?
Let's be serious tho only FMVP and Rings matter anymore.

That's why he's never going to be in the top 10 GOAT

Thats why stats are overrated. Lebron has 4 MVPs yet in all time draft I would pick kawhi 10 times out of 10.
