Thread title,

His game is so ugly. Dude just either take a step back 3 or flop while driving. So much of a ballhog and just spams step back threes like an idiot. That guy would never be successful ever in the playoffs. So ugly to watch.

Is OP the most depressing middle-ager you've ever seen?

Spending his late 40s spamming on insidehoops about a player who hasn't played ball in 20 years. :lol :lol

I've only met huge idiots in person who were fans of Harden. Anyone who knows and plays ball, dislikes the guy.

James Harden would've won 12 rings in the 90's

OP told no lies, while its inarguable what Harden does is effective (ref manipulation), I would be hard pressed to even call it basketball and it certainly doesn't make for an entertaining product

but the onus isn't on him to change how he plays, it's on the league to change the rules to disincentivize it

He's not as big of a problem as the league is for allowing him to cheat.

In a word: Yes

Harden would be roughed up pretty much in every possession in the 90's and got no call.
You think he would win anything back then?

His blow-by ability and first-step translates to any era. :applause: :applause:

He’s really damn good at those stepbacks and it’s unguardable unless you play an absurd defense where you stand behind him or hard double him. Everyone loves it when a certain center just spams the skyhook almost every post up because it’s what we’re used to.

Appreciate hardens effectiveness. He has playoff issues but essentially matched kd last year in their series who was the best scorer in the playoffs. Rockets were easily the closest to beating the healthy warriors, deserve props.

Ofc he get fouls in the 90s. There were more fts and they’ve never seen “foul drawing” like hardens. Reggie Miller got tons of fts as a jump shooter with his tricks, hardens at another level. it’s a valid reason to not like him because of that for sure but it’s wrong to say it’s not effective

Honestly about 85% of the fouls against King James are legit

Did you just try to draw a parallel between Harden's step-back-travel-3 and Kareem's sky hook?
