Are we (Americans) the only group of ****tards that require a new word to be used to describe something that we like or prefer? The latest terminology being "this is lit". :lol

Do other cultures do this shit or is this just some bullshit that Americans do because we think that a word becomes "worn out" over time?

Almost forgot, cool has made it's way into the Mexican lingo too, I hear my teen nephews saying "eso esta bien cool", meaning "that's so cool"...I've interjected with "eres tan cool te voy a decir culo", "you're so cool I'm gonna call you culo" :oldlol:

I remember when "stoopid" meant cool. I refused to say it and mocked anyone who did.
I kind of feel the same way about how "cringe" is currently used. It seems so dated.

"My mother****er is so cool, when he goes to bed, sheep count him" - Mamet

Most people don't understand this piece of Mametspeak because they don't understand the meaning of cool. The colloquial meaning has usurped the real one.

Fresh is still used, although it is generally only applied when speaking about clothing or materials such as cars, rims, etc.
