They wanna see their best player to play when the fans are paying hundreds of dollars for tickets...lol.
Like, I understand the whole load management shit, but he shouldn't do that during home games. Save that for away trips, that way you don't even gotta travel and you won't care about the fans outside of LA.

Imagine trying to argue for a star getting paid 40 mill a year to sit out 2 of the 6 games while he's healthy. :oldlol:

Interesting philosophical conundrum.
Would you watch your team get regular season wins and fall short in the post season?
or
Would you rather not be able to watch your team at all as they win a ring?

You think the Clippers will fall short? Ideally you want to win as much as possible and get the highest seed but if it comes at the cost of losing the best player in the world than you take some losses now for the ultimate prize in June as far as I'm concerned.
Would Stockton and Malone have been better off missing some games during their careers? :confusedshrug:

Those same people weren't going to see them at all for most of that franchises sorry existence. Now they're on the bandwagon and pissed off :lol
Yep. They don't watch the games and aren't invested in the team. That is 90% of the clipper fanbase. All they wanted was to have a decent night out and watch MVP vs FMVP. They paid money for it and were denied by their own player.
A championship that isn't guaranteed by any stretch isn't worth getting a sub par experience when he is perfectly capable of playing. Most people aren't going to be like that one dude and say.. well Doc knows best.. and its for the best..
They don't need to be a true fan to be justified in being pissed off. Even the Bucks fans were annoyed even though it greatly increased their chance of winning. :oldlol:

The NBA says he's not capable of playing. They knew what they were getting when they bought the tickets. They can get playoff tickets and watch him every night when it matters most. I wasn't pissed that he sat out in Utah not that I went.

But he's suddenly capable of playing tonight??
How did the NBA know Tuesday, that he definitely would be healthy for tonight's game against Portland?

The NBA agrees that he can't play every game
this is what kawhi signed up for. it'll be worth it if they get PG back and are healthy for the playoffs.
who's gonna even remember the regular season.

NBA also agrees that players aren't expected to play 82 games.
But when your team hands in dates to the league that Kawhi's going miss, that's called pre-determined bullshit. It gives players free reign to play when they fell like it while still getting paid full salary. It's the paying home and away fans that suffer most.

Here's the point though even in your scenario.
Suppose the Clippers win the championship BUT the game or games you go to or take your family etc to are games where he sits out.
Yeah you can brag your team won the championship BUT you weren't able to actually see him play live because he sat out... Not to mention those PO tix are gonna be expensive and may not be affordable for all.
I mean damn it would be a huge let down to go to see him matchup against Giannis but instead he chooses to play against Rodney freakin' Hood cause it's a more favorable matchup for him. What if that's the fan scenario?
