The playoffs are real basketball.

Why TF would Kawhi or Embiid or anyone else play every meaningless regular season game?

We want the best to be healthy in the PLAYOFFS.

The regular season is too many damn games.

Just STFU.

I'm legitimately tired of hearing about it.

It's a smart strategy.

The regular season is a joke compared to the playoffs.

Sick of so many players not being healthy when real basketball starts.

Cool, so why should I pay any money for league pass, tickets, cable, jerseys, or w/e? If the regular season doesn't matter, then why should I spend any money on it?

some Kawaii is better than no Kawai as we got a couple seasons ago. How much longer would some players careers have been if they had this option when they played?

Load management is great if your stars do get the needed rest and you can still snatch wins from 60-70% of these games. Otherwise it

The difference is Embiid can afford to rest games in the East. You can't afford to sit out games in the West. This will all change when Paul George comes back though. They could've easily won the Bucks and Jazz game if Paul George was playing

When PG comes back, he'll be load manged also. Then they'll have to decide which player to load manage for games. Does PG play one while Kawhit sits out and they just trade off that scenario??

How long before the NBA ok's PG's future load management due to his shoulder?

Paul George doesn't have a history of load management.

If LeBron did this you could bet your house on OP being furious about it. Too bad he doesn't have a house to bet with though.

I don't like it, but it's a smart thing to do. Teams need their superstars to be well-rested for the playoffs

After his first game back, I guarantee PG be missing some games that Kawhit does play in. Highly doubt they'll both the sit the same night.

I think load management is necessary in today's NBA.

Problem is if superstars are load managing the first 25 games of the year, that would worry me as a fan of the team or player.

OP is right.

The game has changed.

Load management is here to stay.

Bran has played 82 games one time in his career.

He routinely takes time off for HGH and steroid treatments.

And he's played in 74 or more in all but 4, which includes this ongoing season and last years career ending groin injury.
