You can't even fight around screens anymore

The NBA dosnt even resemble real basketball anymore. You can't even fight around screens without getting called for a foul these days. How in the hell are you supposed to defend? fighting around screens is something that's taught and preached in basketball everywhere on all levels. Now you have to either switch which puts your big man on a smaller faster gaurd or you have to either double the ball or double the screener. Either way as a defence your screwed because the offence is either gonna have a mismatch from the switch or an open shot for whoever they don't double.

That and...30, 40, and 50 point games aren't even the same.

Felt that way last year. Feel the same now.

This era is really dependent on posteason play. More so than ever. What I mean is, because of the rules and shit like "load management", its tougher to gauge who the pretenders are in the regular-season. Its been a good start to the year, but tons of teams just end up not giving a damn.
