Like others have said, I think load management is stupid but if it helps the player feel fresh and ready for the playoffs so they can perform at their highest level (Kawhi) then by all means do it

Pop did it all the time when the big 3 got old. I only recall him getting in trouble when he rested them on a national TV night against the big 3 of the Heat a few years back. He gave them rest on back to back nights.


Kawhi is young, so I'm kind'a shocked that they keep on sitting him. If he's hurt, he's hurt. But it's early in the season. Maybe not playing so many mins on the back to back. But they are looking to keeping him fresh in the playoffs.

Remove the all star week and give the players two weeks rest instead. That event ain't fun anymore.
