I don't think anybody on the Mavs was ok with that specific shot. Luka after the game talked about how dumb of a shot that was...my guess is that Rick or one of the coaches talked to him after that.

But, I agree with your overall point that if coaches allow this shit routinely, they can't get upset when shots like that happen in key situations.
