Cmon man...
Kuz is just returning.
Do you think his last 2 seasons were just a fluke? He has great talent.
If they wanna trade him, they can probably get a real good player for him.

that's it tho... his last two seasons were hot garbage as well
chucking shots on below average efficiency on a bad team while doing nothing else.... there's about 80 guys in this league who could do the same or better in that role
also he's 24... he ain't getting much better

Kuzma and the Lakers' 1st round pick for Kevin Love. That works for both teams. Let's get that done

18.7 pts on 15.5 shots, 55% TS is alright. I think he's getting better. Slightly. 20 ppg on 45% is sure in it for him.

The Lakers would not have to also give up a pick...LOL
Love has 4 years left at roughly 30 million a year and he's on the wrong side of 30.
Kuzma has 3 years left on his rookie deal iirc, will be a restricted free agent, and is only 24 years old.
Kuzma is clearly the better long-term asset for pretty much any team and especially a team like the Cavs.
I do like the idea of Kevin Love on the Lakers a bit, but I think they'd rather add a defender.
The guy I'd target if I was the Lakers and Kuzma is on the table, would be Robert Covington. Something like Kuzma/KCP for Covington.
Not saying the Lakers should do that, but the defense for a lineup of Green/Covington/Lebron/Davis would be brutal for other teams to go against...and Covington is basically the perfect Lebron player. Great defender and super comfortable taking a ton of 3's.

he sucks now but he doesn't suck. he needs time to figure out how to play which should be primarily off the ball, spotting up and coming off curls, making harder cuts to the basket like he was doing last year

I agree give him time with the team, one could imagine that if the Lakers wanted to they could of gave up Kuzma to the Pelicans and kept Ingram.

OP is dumb, Kuzma is very much needed on this Lakers team along with Danny Green.

Bran stans already working on the last remnant...
To think the young man has sucked up to Bran (a huge neg on his resume with me), and actually carried Bran last year...
He's gonna count the days till Bran leaves, sooner or later... His growth is already stymied no doubt about that.

He is basically the same as last two season, what are you talking about.

If Kuzma's shot isn't falling, he is useless. His defense is horrendous, his playmaking is non existent and his rebounding is atrocious. The guy is 6'9'' and barely averages more rebounds per game than me. The Lakers should trade him while he still holds value. If a team were interested that is, because it's not a coincidence New Orleans wanted no part of him.

Kuzma will be fine. You dont score 40 point games in the NBA and not be good.
I've told people in my circle that kuzma reminds me of a slightly poor mand antawn Jamison.
Hes not a star. A decent starter but a great 6th man who can close a game If hes hot.
