I get it, James Harden is a polarizing player. He's as close to experimental as it gets in this league. He is almost like early Steph Curry in the way he takes unorthodox shots...

But , wow, when they are falling, I've never seen a player like him. Sidestep 3s, perfect teardrops, perfect assists for alley-oops, uncanny cross court passes, through-the-legs passes, awesome dribbling...

tonight was PRIME HARDEN and he put on a shooting clinic.
His team rejuvenated because of it.

His vortex on top of the key sucks up the whole defense, allowing his squad plenty of room to maneuver.

We may be seeing ONE OF THE BEST GUARDS OF ALL TIME creating a whole new style.

Harden went against a good young guard in Zach Levine and made his game look ancient. Why drive to the hole and dunk when you can dance and splash a three? Why?

To me Harden is a more important player than Kobe because Harden has a different style and plays a different way than just being an MJ clone.

While I agree with most of what you're saying, Chris Paul never made it past the second round on his own team. While Harden isn't as effective in the playoffs, he's not garbage either, and Houston has been competitive with him. Before Harden, they were a lottery team. Harden has the same kind of effect on defenses that Curry does in that you have to game plan to really guard him in the big games.

The Rocket's don't have a Klay, Dray and Durant to even things out.
