were all major disappointments? Kwame and Bynum even started out as lottery picks.
Is this just a coincidence or is there possibly something to this?

Bynum had health issues and Kwame was garbage already in Washington yet our FO still traded for him.
Bynum with healthy knees would have developed into the best big man in the game, 2012 was like a 60% version of him and it was damn good, his offensive game was just a joy to watch, such a fundamentally sound player yet a complete head case off the court.

Because Kobe was a no impact player and wasn't making his teammates better. All he did was getting carried to first 3 rings, then he lost 2004 finals all by himself because he was trying to prove he can win as the man. Then he was statpadding for few seasons, making his team worse, and not leading them past 1st rounds. Then he finally realised that he can't win without dominant frontcourt player, so he cried to the front office that they need to bring him one, or he will leave. Then he finally got Gasol who carried him to 2 more championships, battling vs All Nba and All Defense bigs in the paint, while Kobe was stat padding against role players or at best average defenders on the perimeter.

Overachieve in what?
Bynum is the only one of that group to make an allstar team and win rings.
Simon babyboy f*ggot, still thinking about a retired player every day :lol
