The way they play for eachother is just incredible and FVV/Siakam are on another level rn. FVV does not get the credit he deserves. Dude is ****ing legit. Killer.

They've had one of the softest schedules in the NBA.

2-1 westcoast trip. We could've beaten the Clippers if we did not lose OG Anunoby in the first quarter. It could've been 3-0 so pump the breaks here sir.

Dont think so. They had Lakers/Clippers/Celtics/Milwaukee on road.

Defence and ball movement. Best recipe for success and chips. Most of the idiots on here who worship ball dominance will never understand this concept.

Raptors play some ferocious D, its incredible to watch, and they do it without fouling. There's a reason they are the best FG% defense in the league.

They held Kawhi to 12pts and Lillard to 9pts. Not to mention they have a great coach.

Weren't the Pelicans supposed to be a playoff team? What happened to the Kings surprising everybody this year? :oldlol: Cowards!

Raptor bandwagoners melting at the truth. :oldlol:

Don't worry, Hornets, Knicks, Magic, Hawks on the way. You can claim those are tough games too.

yeah. lillard got blitzed a few times today and you could tell it threw him off. kawhi got doubled nonstop and even though they pulled out the win you could tell the strategy worked. I've never seen him struggle that hard.

So wait, they're supposed to play the Clippers, Lakers and Bucks every night?

You sound like a moron.

In any case as others have said they have an elite defense and a ton of versatile defenders. On offense Siakam and Van Vleet are playing at a really high level, Siakam is a legit matchup nightmare. Getting Lowry back for spacing will help him even more, forget Serge.

To highlight their defence they just held Lebron to 5-15, Kawhi 2-12 and Lillard 2-12. Not many teams would do that in 3 straight games missing 3 of their top 5-6 players.

This team is better than people give credit. Kawhi leaving had some idiots thinking these guys were a lottery team. They've lost 3 close games on the road to Boston, Milwaukee and LA Clippers, I'll take that.

THEY WERE STACKED LAST SEASON AND THEY arent missing a beat without some great players.. The Raps would have won 50 games without Kawhi last season.. Like THE BULLS without MJ..

MJ AND KAWHI played on great teams that is why they won

I've gotta eat my hat on Nick Nurse. I thought there was no way he'd be a good coach, mostly because of his used-car salesman look. Still a firm believer in judging a book by its cover, but he is quite the exception.

I automatically would just chalk it up to Strength of Schedule, but that's not the case here. They have the 9th hardest schedule in the league thus far. Pretty impressive so far. They have just been playing well as a team.

Anunoby was injured in last year's Playoffs, he's played well above expectations so far tbh, their 3PT shooting has carried their offense a lot and Lowry was key in some of their early wins in the season, putting up 24/5/7 on 48/43/88 splits in their first 7 games before being injured in the Pelicans game. They lost to Milwaukee and Boston and have mostly won against weaker competition or teams that have struggled with injuries (Pelicans twice, Portland, Orlando, Chicago, Sacramento). Lakers are their only impressive win so far tbh, other teams anyone could have beat at this point in the season.

No they weren't. They just emphasis ball movement so everyone is involved and has a chance to develop and shine. This can't happen with ball dominant players and systems.

They just shut down a team to only 83 points, most underrated team ever maybe.
