Which just shows that some smart GMs that are good at making teams wanted Leonard. Too many of us fall into the trap of needing to give all the credit to one coach or player. It's not that simple and never has been.

Teams get better. Siakam was a decent 2nd option last year but continues developing his game and looks like a future superstar, Raptors are currently shooting ~40% from three this season which they won't maintain. Raptors have always been a decent RS team but you saw how much they needed Kawhi on both ends last season to barely get past the Sixers, they're a streaky shooting team as well.
