HE is playing at a pace of 75 possessions used per 48 mins.

That is not far off the pace of entire teams in some eras.

He's playing without Westbrook, Capela, Gordon, and House. 4 of their top 6 players and they're up 2 at half.

He's gonna get up 40+ shots tonight though. :lol

Given the injuries, he should've targeted the 81 tonight. Although, there's still time...

I am not even surprised at this point already... what I'm waiting for is for him to break Wilt's record.

38 points on 12-34 through 3.

Mamba mentality.

The things is...the Rockets are winning games. You can't just say Harden is an empty stat padder or something...his aggressiveness or "chucking" isn't making the Rockets lose.

He's a winner. Like stronglurk said, they win games. Hope all the ridiculous numbers he's putting up right now isn't gonna wear him down come playoffs. It shouldn't, he's put up 40 shots tonight. It was expected with Russ not in there :lol

With KD injured and Lebron old AF, Harden is the best player in the league.

I don't see why he couldn't win a chip this year if he keeps up this level of play. The field is open with the Warriors dismantled.

35/7/6 against the Warriors in the last playoff series he played.

Exactly.

Are we really going to blame a player for losing when they play that well?

honestly haven't looked but off the top of my head, can you tell me somebody who's been the best player in the league in the past however long but hasn't won a championship?

Giannis was considered best player in the league by most last year and has no ships

He never shows up during the most important games in the playoff series is his issue.

2018 Game 7 VS GSW he didn't show up, GSW won vs Bran in the finals. Rockets missed like 27 3 pointers.

2019 Game 6 VS GSW he showed up but wasn't enough, didn't close out the game in 4th quarter, GSW went easy 4-0 vs Blazers.

Harden is around 39.5 ppg now. This shit is getting absurd.

That's the only guy and that was debatable but after the playoffs nobody was saying he was the best. He is only 24 though.

If Harden is the best it should eventually result in a ring because the last person off the top of my head to be considered the best who doesn't have a ring was probably Kevin Garnett and I don't think people even considered him the best player in the league during his MVP year.

Thats' not the issue. We know he can win a bunch of regular season games. Can his style win a championship is the question. Kobe already told him it won't in so many words. Instead, Harden has dialed it UP:oldlol:
