he missed the playoffs last year.........Lakers were barely .500 when he played
Bran getting a top 5 player, a 3x DPOY playing some of the best defensive of his career and the best 3&D player in the league fresh off a chip doesnt change anything:no:

If he somehow manages to lose with this stacked team it will be worse than 2011.

He BETTER win this season... you do realize we could have had a trio of PG, Kawhi and AD had we never signed him? We went all in with him and Davis.

Who did Lebron get his powder toss idea from - I'm curious
Also, lebron has the best sidekick in the league and his team is once again the Vegas favorite in Year 1 or 2 of existence... So he'll get the same credit for winning this year as he got with his previous ready-made favorites: non-goat status with people arguing that Bird and Kobe are better... :oldlol:

OP, you really should consider whom on here you are getting your advice from regarding lebron. :lol We know you are young and need educated on the matter. We get it.... you never saw MJ and therefore wish LeBron was as good as MJ so that you can witness GOAT level basketball. LeBron isn't GOAT level basketball. He's far from, and his career proves this. Most of it spent in a historically weak east with cakewalk trips to the finals in an era where the rule set makes it easier to score the basketball.
For the record, no member on this board has been to more Cavs games with LeBron playing that I have. I was born in Cleveland and live in a very well off suburb of Cleveland on the west side. I've seen it all when it comes to Cleveland sports. I rep all Ohio teams. Obviously I take the Browns over the Bengals, but I still support both. Stop listening to posters from countries outside of the states sucking lebron's nuts that have never even been to an NBA game. No one on here has spent more money on basketball in terms of Cavs tickets that has gone into LeBron's pockets than me, so naturally I am the authority on here as to what LeBron is, and what he isn't. I was watching Lebron in high school before you were born. There's other guys on here that live in Cleveland like hiphopanonymous that will tell you the same thing. Anyone who saw both MJ and Lebron play knows what Lebron isn't, and what MJ is.
Educate yourself on the matter by seeking out the right sources.

I'm not a hater, I'm a realist. All I do is spread factual information. Here are the facts:
1. LeBron joined the cavs in 2003. He started off his career with an all-star already on the team. Very exciting year. Great year to be a cavs fan.
2. Dan Gilbert buys the Cavs. Lebron pisses and moans to him, and Dan Gilbert gives him everything he asked for that was within his power.
3. By 2007, Cavs were good enough to make it all the way to the finals. Things are going good!
4. In 2010 against Boston, Lebron quits on his team.
https://www.cleveland.com/cavs/2010/07/dan_gilbert_says_lebron_james.html
5. He leaves a team that helped him get to the finals, and conspires with other players behind the scenes, joining the #2 and #4 player in PER. He starts the whole collusion era of basketball.
Fans around the world burn his cavs jersey.
6. He promised Miami something like 6 rings, only to get his shit pushed in by Jason Terry in 2011. It was amazing and a joy to watch.
7. After 4 years in Miami, with Ray Allen saving what little he has left of his legacy, his advisers tell him to return to Cleveland, because Cleveland had won 3 number 1 picks in the draft, and 2 number 4 picks within a 4 years span. With all that trading power and Gilbert's deep pockets, the best chance for him to go to the finals again was a team in the weak east with Cleveland being the most attractive destination. Literally no one wants him here, and everyone wants to build around Kyrie using our draft picks to acquire more talent.
8. Gilbert gets on his knees for Lebron, and Lebron joins Cleveland, the most expensive team in the NBA and most stacked in the east for the next 4 years.
9. 2015 finals is a wash because Kyrie and Love are injured.
10. 2016 finals becomes a wash since Bogut, Iggy, Curry are all injured and Draymond suspended. Despite GSW being so worn down due to all the injuries and coming back down 3-1 in the WCF, lebron gets cold feet with 4 minutes left in the game. Contributes a shaky FT.
Kyrie saves the day, but LeBron takes all the credit, pissing off Kyrie, the man who won it all for Cleveland with the clutch shot on top of a game 5 performance where he scored 41 points on 71% shooting, which is to be expected against a worn out GSW team with no Draymond. GSW was so depleted even lebron scored 41 points that same game on high fg%. It was a joke.
Clevelanders celebrate, mostly in pure shock that the Cavs won, but are very pissed that Kyrie doen't get the credit he deserves. Clevelanders also don't feel like this is a legit win, as we were only able to win because their opposition was playing on fumes and a shell of themselves. They look forward to a potential rematch against 2017 since both 2016 and 2015 are both a wash. Cleveland desperate for a real ring in 2017 when the real show down will take place, knowing their team is stacked in a weak east and heading to the finals yet again no questions asked.
11. KD joins GSW, vowing to make Lebron his bitch and stacking the deck even taller than LeBron. 2017 finals - Kryie puts up 29ppg in the series, but gets all of the blame. Lebron has a meeting with the front office, talking about what can they get for Kyrie. The talk got back to Kryie, and that served as the tipping point that led to Irving formally requesting a trade a 2 weeks later. This pissed off Cavs fans everywhere.
Lebron got destroyed by KD:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YzmvikY8VdQ
12. 2018 - Lebron gets destroyed by KD once again and plays no defense on him, conserving all his energy for offense.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=en2eiVUX6I0
13. At this point, Lebron conspires once again with players like Paul George and Kawhi to team up in LA. PG and Kawhi cuck him, and he's left alone in LA.
14. Lakers fans destroy his mural, as no one wants him there.
15. AD joins Lakers and the pieces come together to form yet another stacked team. Still no one in LA really wants him there.
This is why anyone who understands lebron's career knows he's a wannabe GOAT that couldn't hold MJ's jock strap even on his best day. Ask any Clevelander and they will tell you that 2017 was supposed to be the real finals, and that 2016 was a wash. Lebron got his shit pushed in by KD and years from now, that's all anyone will ever remember about this collusion era.
While we know 2016 was an unfair match-up because of how hampered GSW was, Kyrie is acknowledged in the city of Cleveland still to this day for doing what Lebron could only dream of doing. That is hitting a go ahead shot in the finals when the pressure is at it's fullest and it matters most. You'll see people wearing Kyrie Cavs jerseys in Cleveland. You won't see a single person wearing a lebron cavs jersey these days. I wonder why that is?
These are the facts kid. Gathered by me via eye test and also after talking to fellow Cleveland Cavs fans in Cleveland since lebron joined in 2003. Anyone who tells you different has their head too far up lebron's ass to know any better.

No. They'll just talk more. Look at what goes on now. The people who talk about him the most are the very ones that hate him. They can't keep his name out their months.

I don't know, I think Brady/Belliceck managed to shut up the haters, at least as far as discussion over Goat status goes.

That's because they matched the goat's ring count
Lebron is barely halfway there
Even if he reached 6 rings, his easier path kills him because he twice landed on favorites to win it in Year 1 (2011, 2015) - that's an easier road than building favorite status over many years)

Did you read the facts about lebron that I posted? I'm still near cleveland and work in cleveland. I see what goes on here. Meticode doesn't. Right now Cleveland is fully absorbed with the Browns. Cavs are a distant 2nd. Browns would have only 1 loss if we had a coach that knew wtf he was doing. We recently made history. We showed what happens when you try to rip off a helmet of a browns player. The result is the oppositions helmet getting ripped off and beaten with it. :lol
