F-18 can take it on but doubt it would win. F-22 would probably defeat it in a close fight. F-35 is the most advanced aircraft in US fleet but not as good as F-22 for a 1on1 dogfight. F-22 is specifically designed for dogfighting, while F-35 is designed for versatility to be a jack of all trades. I think F-35 would still beat it ultimately but tough call because while it's very good at dogfighting, it is not its greatest strength.

The Russians have caught up though. For a decade and half, F-22 was a god in fighter jet aviation until the Russians caught up less than a decade later. Then came the F-35, which is currently ahead of everything in the game but won't be for long. The Chinese are not too far behind..
