How does LeBron's assist to turnover ratio compare to other all time Laker greats?

LeBron isn't an all time Laker great. Especially after being incapable of leading the Lakers to the playoffs last season. He's got a lot of work to do to even get that conversation started.

Basketball historians will look back on this era as the era of ball dominant statpadders who got their stats by any means including the detriment of the team.

Russell Westbrook
LeBron James
James Harden
Ben Simmons

11 assists doesn't look so good when there's 9 turnovers that go right along with it.

The era of ball dominance and empty stats.

Total turnovers
1. Malone: 4524
2. Stockton: 4244
3. LeBron: 4202

Another day, another 9 turnovers for LeBron. LeBron's inching ever closer to being at the top of a laughing stock list.

Ya hate to see it baby boy.

Assists are truly irrelevant

high assists from one guy simply means that one guy is dominating the ball and the ball isn't moving - lebron's team has high assists this year, but his team's average rank is 15th for his career

Lebron gets 3-4 extra assists compared to say, Kawhi, but those assists simply replace ball movement, so who cares - Kawhi doesn't dominate his teams distribution of assists, so the team moves the ball better and has a better team..

So again, lebron's turnovers matter - he dominates his team's distribution of assists (ball doesn't move), while being the goat at turning it over

If you think Lebron being the all-time leader in turnovers makes him the "goat at turning it over", does that mean he is also the "goat at playoff scoring", since he is also the all-time leader in that statistic ? Or could it be that you have double standards ...
