Currently 3rd in the NBA. He's like the modern day Mitch Richmond for the Washington Wizards.

He was actually struggling with his shot the first few games. He has been a beast lately.
Slow start last night then dropped 21 in the 3rd. It is hard to believe how much better he is relative to years 3/4.
He is really setting the tone for the team. He shows out late in games when they have a chance to win. The other night he had 15 pts in the last 6 minutes in a big comeback which came up short.

I've always said he was better than John Wall.
Wall is flashier, but Beal with his shooting/scoring ability is more valuable.

For real, Beal's a good player don't get me wrong but when you got ****ing Bradley Beal averaging 30-5-7 out there like he's a superstar in his prime maybe this era is trash and defense needs to be unban?
Just maybe....

Bradley Beal a solid but not exceptional offensive talent putting up peak MJ numbers and he's only #3 scorer
What. An. Era. :oldlol:
Defense has been exiled - records being broken left and right even by mediocre players - didn't some miami guy that couldn't shoot the ball into the ocean last year just hit 9-15 from 3?

All these guys hating on Bradley Beal are retarded.
Beal finally is the complete number 1 option and is able to shoot 4-5 times more a game now.
Beal is a shooter/gunner who runs around a lot off-ball...that style of play is effective in any era.

He's a good player but he's not top 3 in the NBA level good and those are the types of numbers he's putting up.
Just goes to show what a joke stats have become in the '10s decade.

T-mac went from scoring 15.4ppg to 26.8ppg in one season because he become the number 1 option.
Why can't Bradley Beal go from scoring 25.6ppg to 30.3ppg?
I mean, the season just started and he could fall back to 26-27ppg on a bad team...makes complete sense.
You guys just never watched him play last year.
Yeah, the pace is generally higher now than it was in 1999...but there were plenty of years in the 80's with faster pace than now.
Hell, this year is actually slower I believe than last year and the year before.

Where the fuc.k do you get top 3 in the NBA with Bradley Beal's production?
No one has ever said that except you just now.
Beal so far is certainly in the top 12-15.
I mean, he put up 25/5/6 last year...but no one talked about it because he is on the Wizards.
Beal's shot attempts have increase every year for the last 4 years, going from 17 to 23 per game.
He was compared to RAY ALLEN coming out of college man.
Ray Allen 3's for career - 2.3/5.7
Bradley Beal 3's for career - 2.2/5.8

Bradley Beal's first 8 seasons - 20/4/4
You complaining about Beal right now is probably how NBA fans in the 60's/70's complained about "gimmicky Ray Allen" shooting 3 point shots all the time when the 70's players didn't even have a chance for that.

Obviously some people here haven't watched the Wizards. They have the 2nd ranked offense in the league and Beal is the main reason why.
Their defense is the problem, primarily because they are starting a washed up IT who couldn't play D in his prime.

Yeah he's 21-24 pts good in any era but he's not 30 points good. The NBA has intentionaly spead up the game and put in rules to give an advantage to perimeter players. This is a fact it's not even arguable. I don't know why some people are having a hard time acknowledging this.

First of all we are like 12 games into the season. So, 100% he will not sustain 30 ppg for an entire season

He just resigned for 2 more years. Last summer we fired the GM Grunfeld that somehow held the job for 14 years of suckage.
I suspect Beal had a say in this firing. Apparently he is being included in personnel decisions now which he likes.
On the season the Wizards point differential is -.7 in spite of starting a washed up IT at the point. Plus we have a lot of young guys who haven't learned how to rotate on defense.
When Wall comes back this will be the deepest team he has played on.
