Bron has the record set for most consecutive 25ppg seasons in NBA history with 15 straight seasons. I think the record was something weak like 12 before LeKing.
Anyway...
Will this be the year his 25 ppg streak stops or will he get to 16 straight? He is currently at 25.0 ppg in a career low 34.9 mpg
Who will come close to matching LeBron's 15-straight 25 ppg seasons?

Let's be honest,
Curry, Harden, KD, Kobe > James as scorers.

Impressive record actually. Averaging 25 ppg for 1 year isnt easy. Last season only 11 players did it. Doing it for that long is ridiculous.
Put this another way. How many players averaged 20 ppg for 15 straight seasons (put the minimum games played at 41, half a season)?
Jordan..no, only has 13 seasons total that qualify.
Kobe didnt. He was .1 shy in year 3.
Dirk..no. Only 12 straight.
Karl Malone did it, but that is going pretty far back. Can anyone think of a more recent player who did it?

Harden is almost half way to tying Lebron's record.

Impressive, yes. But it's more a longevity record than anything. What it means is that Lebron's body has held up. That and he entered the league at 18. Wilt was 23, Kareem 22 and Jordan was 21. Kind of makes a difference.
And we've also seen that modern athletes are playing longer and longer. Brady and Brees are in their 40s playing QB in the NFL. The kind of medical attention famous athletes have access today is amazing. Payton Manning played several seasons and won a SB after breaking his neck. You know they're doing all kinds of cutting edge, questionably legal stuff.
Also, Jordan retired twice after three-peats because he was bored and didn't think there was anything left to prove. Meanwhile, Lebron has always been chasing Jordan and still is. Makes a difference.

Ok whatever. I don't love mj like that dude. As a person he actually seems like a prick and Bron seems like a pretty good dude. I just think he's a better basketball player.

Regular season accolades? Nice and all, but he is LIGHT by about 1,000 points in the playoffs so he played 60 more games though. Accord to this idiot Kevin Durant is like the 40th best scorer of all time. Dantley, Parrish, Ray allen, Rick barry, Alex english, Carmelo, Duncan, gervin and many others like this are better scorers because they have more Total points.
