I've never seen a movie title blasts the standard of basketball during that time period as much as this flick

Humiliating

I'm not really seeing a lot of vertical from Woody there, so I'm gonna have to say that was fake news. Maybe a 9.5 foot rim.

It was a shot at wheels, who can't actually jump, at all.

Neither men could jump. Movie should've been called 90's Men Can't Jump.

You're comparing 2nd option to 3rd or 4th option

And Hornacek destroyed the 96' Sonics and 92' Blazers (18/6/7 with better efficiency and clutch)

So it's 2-2.. Pippen had the lowest peak of any 90's sidekick, so even guys like Hornacek routinely matched or exceeded him against the same comp

You are talking as if Hornacek was a bad player. He was an all star level player with great scoring, shooting and passing.

Sure, for his time. He was also 6’1 tops. Nowadays the minimum for a guard is like 6’5, unless you can shoot like Steph Curry.

Theres no auto mechanics and Safeway grocery baggers playing in The Lebron Era ™️

He was more like 6'3 ft...and he could shoot. He was as big as Curry maybe even taller.

He was 6'4" and I thought he was 6'5" all these years until I just googled it right now

I just checked his BBall reference page. They only have +/- and on/off +/- starting in 1996-7, when he was 33 years old. That season he put up +22/100 possessions, which is an all-time great level of impact. +10-15 is usually what 1st team all-NBA guys are registering at. He was +10.2 and +11.4 the next two years. That's insane. Karl Malone's on/off +/- was 21.9/100 that year.

for reference, 2008-9 LeBron was +21.2/100 possessions, and +15 or more 5 other times.

The biggest shot fired in the entire film was actually at black men.

Did you watch the damn film ?

“I know plenty about you, Sidney…..”
“You’d rather look good and lose, rather than look bad and win.”

Bodied millions of MF with that quote.

great player that anyone would want on their team. He was like Stockton light. Going from Jeff Malone's awful mid range game to Horny took the Jazz to a whole other level

That's why your job is a barber. You are too lazy, and too stupid to find a better job.

I don’t know if you actually watched the movie, but the white guy that can’t dunk, is the best basketball player in the movie.

Sydney was an athletic show boat who didn’t have the skills, heart or IQ. Was a prototypical black athlete. Selfish, me first type. Also questionable ethics.
