Why is it such a surprise NBA teams picks up athletic black guys who dominate in college instead of skilled Euros who are less athletic?

I still don't think Kings in hindsight made such a mistake. Bagley is a freak and if he puts in the work he will be just as good as Ayton.

In hindsight Suns, Kings and Hawks should have drafted Luka. They all didn't.

Whenever you pass over a franchise player who will end up in the HOF for Bagley...you lost big time. And yes even if Luka never improves and stays at his current level he will end up in the HOF unless he has a very early career ending injury. With some guys it is so easy to project.

Doesn't matter if Bagley turns into a multiple time all-star, passing up on Luka was a terrible decision.
