Durant out, Curry out.
PG: Doncic
SG: Bogdanovich
SF: Giannis
PF: KP
C: Jokic
vs
PG: Lillard(?)
SG: Harden
SF: Bron
PF: AD
C: Drummond(?)
Not a very scary American team tbh. Maybe Kawhi can play some minutes and AD slides to center, Bron to PF, but that's a big IF.

With Durant and KD not in the s5, ya its close.

I would put Steph over Lillard unless you are talking about healthy players. I would ALSO put KD at the two guard cuz he can't be stopped. Kawhi at the three and Lebron at the four with AD at the five.
THAT american team is just too good defensively to be beat. I would argue that team could beat the DREAM TEAM..
STEPH
DURANT
KAWHI
LEBRON
AD

Meant Kawhi.
Without Kawhi and KD...I think the Euro team has a chance. With those guys though? USA has too much firepower. KD's defense has gotten A LOT better over the last few years too.

I'd go with:
Pg: LeBron
Sg: harden
SF: kawhi
Pf: siakam
C: ad
This line up would crush the euros. They'd be tough on both ends

If the lineup is this:
G: Lillard
G: Harden
F: Kawhi
F: LeBron
C: Davis
Then no, the European lineup is not better. It may contend but it isn't better. Pop in a guy like Paul George in place of Lillard for more size. Most of these players are very positionless so ball handling won't even matter.

This. As long as you can make Lebron play “PF” and Davis play “C” (just list Kawhi/George as the C if that’s what it takes) then there’s no contest.
All-World team may make things more competitive since Embiid and Siakam are introduced.

This fact will have to be proven again... as great as KD is/was, achilles injuries change players, and KD isn't a youngster anymore (for the NBA anyway). KD is living off his past right now, but the future will tell the tale, not many have come back strong from a torn achilles.

He obviously wasn't born in America but I thought he was an american citizen. Didn't matter though replace him with and top pf and they win

Under which rules? NBA rules? I think an All-American team wins. FIBA rules? How about NBA rules from 1980?

Yeah that's fair.
I think even at 80%, Durant is still the best offensive player in the league. And arguably the best player. Period.
Kawhi is in that discussion obviously. Look forward to seeing what he does this postseason.

You can't use injured players in this comp.
KD and Curry are out.
Also BronBron23, you say put in a "top power forward", who is that exactly?
Montrezzl, LaMarcus, Draymond?

Damn, an entire continent has to collude just to compete vs one country
yikes

The continent is the same size the country is and I think the US has more basketball players than all of Europe.
