Blazers back to back blow out wins since they have been healthy. Melo playing with Whiteside and Dame is 2-0.
This Blazer team is stilling missing Nurkic and Zach Collins. Crazy deep team when everyone is healthy.

The Bran stans don't want to admit Melo would be AT LEAST 3/9 had he chose the same cowardly collusion path that Bran chose

Did you just compare a "loaded deck" to a Miami Heat team that had Mario Chalmers, Joel Anthony, Juwan Howard, Mike Miller, Mike Bibby, Eddie House, James Jones...... Yeah right. Sit down stupid.

That's not how this works.
Taking the singular peak purple patch of someone's career where he won without an all-star in a weaker era to say he would win with any other all-star in any following years half a decade later.
Wade and Melo would have barely scraped HC.
Anyone with a brain knows that team is getting squatted in the 2nd or 1st round.
At least a Melo/Bosh/Wade core would only lose to Indiana and Boston and whatever team LeBron is on.

Wade and melo both led conference title teams in the mid late 2000s on their own with weak second options. Roy hibbert n Paul George pacers wouldn't beat them for shit lmao.
The cHeat underachieving doesn't mean their competition was worth a shit, that Indiana team is ass historically and so was ancient rondo led Boston. Any all time team would've swept them think about what the dubs would ve done.

Oh, we just assuming Wade and Bosh are better than they were from 2012-14?
Because their underwhelming selfs is why they underachieved.
I guess if you think they're just better, then yea, they could make a couple finals (and get squatted there).

Carmelo is going to score points and have good games sometimes, but more times than not he's going to hurt a team versus help them.

Good for Melo.
Would be a good redemption story...if Portland does anything in the playoffs.

'09 Wade and '09 Melo could definitely win a ring. '09 Melo was actually a beast, those Nuggets were really good with old man Chauncey. They destroyed prime Dirk and peak CP3 in the first two rounds, 8-2 record and 7/8 wins by double digits iirc. And then they gave the 65 win Kobe/Pau Lakers a hell of a series, think Melo dropped 40 multiple times.
Imagine that Melo with '09 Wade who y'all like to say is the best SG since Jordan.

While Dirk was pretty much unstoppable in 09 in that series, the rest of the Mavs were pretty bad. I'm not getting into the debate, but I wouldn't weigh much of that Nuggets series win against the Mavericks.
I think Dirk did something like 32/11/4 70% TS...and they still got murked like you said. IIRC 3 of the Nuggets wins were in blowouts. Flawed Mavs team.
As for the debate, Melo/Wade together in their primes would be more than capable of winning titles. Just would depend on the competition.

Uh, yeah. What do you expect when you have a team with the best 2 players in the league and another perennial all-star PF? :oldlol: All of those are serviceable roleplayers who lasted a long time in the league.

The way their careers panned out no.
If Melo had chosen Bran's cowardly path then he would be at least equal in ring/fmvp count.
I meant as a basketball player. Not as a career or rangz or whatever

It has been nearly a decade...and people still try to pretend the 11 Heat were anything other than historically stacked.
They played the first 15 or so games poorly...and still managed to win 58 and had an expected record of 61-21.
They still had the 3rd best offense / 5th best defense. They had the best SRS. They had the best net rating.
They had 2 of the best players in the league...who also happened to be 2 of the best players of all-time in their primes. The 3rd best guy was an all-nba caliber player...even though I'm not as high on Bosh as some.
They then absolutely dominated the East with a 12-3 record.
To argue that this team was anything other than a monster that should have easily won the title, is straight up revisionist history.
