Lebron missed the playoffs 3 times with lottery teams (teams that were lottery the prior year)
so he can't carry lottery casts to low seeds like MJ or Kobe did, and therefore never faced the 8 vs 1 seed matchups that they did - Lebron only made the playoffs with good teams/high seeds and therefore easy 1st round matchups, thus inflating his early record compared to MJ and Kobe

  Current Westbrick is much worse than he was in 2017. He's not even close to being able to take any team to the playoffs.

I would say it's only Harden and James. LBJ may not have done it last year due to injury, but his rebound this year is plenty to convince me he still can when healthy.

Lakers were 20-14 before he got hurt, which is 48-34 pace and same as the 8-seeded clippers, except the lakers lose the tie-breaker
so even under the best-case scenario, the lakers miss the playoffs last year - you don't hear that in the press because they're liars and fake news all day long - low character agenda pushers
as it played out, Lebron was only 28-27 when healthy, despite promising to make the playoffs (activated "playoff mode") - 28-27 is a joke and nowhere near playoffs... the Lakers had the easiest early season schedule, so the 20-14 mark was inflated
ultimately, Lebron destroyed Ingram, so the 19' Lakers never had a chance to reach their potential.. Ingram joins a long list of players that Lebron's style destroyed, including Love, Bosh, Jamison, Hughes, Rose, Hood, Crowder, and more

Ok, you've convinced me. I was just trying to be fair-minded. But there it is. It's only Harden.

Unintentionally hilarious list given that Lebron carried every one of those guys to far greater playoff success than they ever enjoyed without him.

Why did the cavs miss the playoffs before LeTripod returned and missed them when he left?

Why did the cavs miss the playoffs before LeTripod returned and missed them when he left?
In 2011, the Cavs lost Mo Williams, Varejao, Shaq, Delonte and Zydrunas, which totaled 50 ppg - that's a greater loss than losing Lebron's 30 ppg
Essentially, the 11' Cavs lost half their team, not just Lebron.
In 2019, they missed the playoffs because Love was hurt, and the small-market franchise was in decline after 2 box office draws left in consecutive years (Kyrie, then Lebron)
Finally, the 2015 Heat missed the playoffs by a half game due to Wade/Bosh missing 40 games*
^^^ so that explains all the drop-offs after Lebron left... :applause:
And btw - people forget that the 15' Cavs consisted of the league's 2nd best PF (2nd team Love), the 14' all-star MVP (kyrie), and Lebron - they were infact the pre-season and pre-playoffs favorites to win it all...
So they were actually favored over the Warriors, but obviously sustained injuries that year - but their favorite status when the super-team was first assembled proves that they shouldn't have been underdogs in 2016.. they were only underdogs because they underachieved in the regular season with 50-something wins, instead of flirting with 70 wins like Curry and Kawhi… so the 16' Finals wasn't an upset - they had equal or greater on-paper talent then the Warriors, and were favored when the super-team was originally assembled.
* the 14' Heat were actually the equivalent of a western conference 1st round team, as their Finals blowout loss demonstrated very clearly.. So they fell from 1st round to lottery in 2015 due to Wade/Bosh injuries.
