What. A. Time!

But I think the roster is too top heavy to keep it up, and both those guys might need a little load management, so more like 62-65 wins.

Meanwhile, the Clippers will win 58-60 games, and it won't matter, as long as the two teams don't meat in the second round. That should be good enough for a 2 or 3 seed.

2016 Warriors started 24-2
1996 Bulls started 39-3

They have a very long way. 58-65 wins sounds about right.

Aye.
The 1967 Sixers, with Wilt, opened with 46-4 record.
The 1970 Knicks opened with a 23-1 start.
The 1972 Lakers rampaged to 39-3.
The 1994 Rockets went undefeated with 15-0, a record opening streak later broken by the 2016 Warriors with 24-0.
The 1996 Bulls were 48-5.
The 2008 Celtics won 29 of their first 31 games.

The 2020 Lakers have a long way to go.

Obviously way too early under normal conditions, but the Lakers have faced an absurdly easy schedule so far.

Doesn't mean they'll start losing, but the games are about to get a lot harder.

"Alright alright. enough is enough. The throne has been played with too much and i aint for the horseplay"

didnt he try to warn ya...

LeBron is spanking the haters over his knee as of right now (which lets be honest most of these "haters" would enjoy)

The way some of you "haters" obsess over this man has always struck me as odd....shirtless pictures of him as your avatar ect...

Lakers are solid but they ain't winning 73. Probably could if they really wanted to but the chip is the priority

He's right.

Well in a way.

Why go full bore in the regular-season with a guy like Lebron? He's been great so far. Top 5 in the league give or take. He doesn't need to log 'tough' minutes...for 73 wins. Ditto with AD whose been injury laden.

They're 17-2.

How many teams in history have had a better start?

Look. I don't know if they'll win 73 win games. But they'd be close if that was their goal. AD and Lebron are basically a perfect duo.

Dawg, they've beaten like 4 playoff squads

These Lakers are great and will win like 60 games, but they're not even remotely good enough to win 73 or get close to that.

Hard to say they just "couldn't"...but the schedule has been super easy. A lot of unknown with how they'll react to playing the better teams more consistently.

Sure. BTW, I have a 75% chance to fcuk Jessica Alba. I mean.. I want it 100% so that's half of the game as in 50%. If and when she finds out my intentions she either wants it or not for 50%. So we arrive at a 75% chance.

The math is correct. What do you think of my chances?

Math looks legit.

The only problem here is you're a flamboyant homosexual.

We all know you're a flamboyant homosexual though.

This was a well kept secret for 18+ years on this site. How did all this info.. err... leak out? :oldlol:

On a more serious note, I work with numbers all the time as a physicist. Measurements and statistics. So when it comes to other things than the lab, I'm an expert in telling you numbers don't cover the whole story.

Nope

We going for a chip and only have 2 consistent players on the team that will require managing minutes

This isn't the 2016 stacked Warriors where Curry can sit for a whole playoff series and Barnes/Klay/Dray can carry us to the next round
