Well if we replaced Pippen with Kyrie, Kyrie's greater offense wouldn't require as many expensive scorers and shooters to fill out the remaining roster, and the team could seek out cheaper defenders and hustle guys instead..

That's what happened with Lebron's teams - his teams actually had higher ranked defenses and more defensive help than the Bulls first 3-peat teams, in the form of better rim protection, more good rebounders/bangers, and more athletic guards - Lebron was able to acquire this superior defensive help because he didn't need to acquire more expensive scorers and shooters, due to the presence of Kyrie versus a weaker offensive player like pippen.

So the team would be much better on both sides of the ball with Kyrie - better offense because of Kyrie, and better defense because of the team can pursue cheaper defenders and hustle guys versus needing expensive scorers and shooters like Pippen's weaker offense requires.

Also, MJ would win 11 straight rings if he had Love too - Love's superior offense has the same impact as Kyrie's - the team doesn't need to acquire expensive offensive help and can now acquire better defensive help just like Lebron's teams had (better defensive rankings than the 1st three-peat Bulls due to better rim protection, more good rebounders/bangers, and more athletic guards)
