When you think bad franchises you might think Knicks, Kings or Phoenix. Or historically speaking the clippers. Well the clippers are currently contenders

Phoenix was last contending in the Steve Nash era
Kings were last contending in the early 2000s
Knicks last contended in the 90s
Hornets and grizzlies have never contended but they are relatively young franchises

Was just thinking recently that theyre basically the most irrelevant team in the league. Along with arguably the Magic.

Not necessarily the worst, just the least relevant.

Wolves are the worst.........they dont have the amount of bad years since they havent been a franchise as long tho

Hornets and Nets are up there too

At least Beal gets mentioned. The Hornets and Magic almost never get brought up.

That could be true if your criteria is "they last contended in....."

There are other criteria like, they have at least won a championship. Or, they at least went to the playoff half the time. Or, they last went to the playoff in 2018, so pretty recent.

The Magic had Shaq/Penny and Howard. Sure the Hornets are "young" but nobody on the team has a higher ceiling than a role player.
