In 1991, MJ went through Ewing's Knicks, Barkley's Sixers, Zeke's Pistons, and Magic's Lakers.

That is crazy.

You do realize LeBron only went through Rip Hamilton, Joe Johnson, and Dwight Howard in 2009?

He put up nice numbers, but he did eventually get knocked out by a lesser player.

How many 50+ win teams did Lebron beat in the 2009 Playoffs? Didn't he only need to beat 39 and 47-win teams to make the ECF, where he got blown off the floor as a #1 seed?

Here are the top 3 playoff performers (based on PER) that won a chip in NBA history (minimum 14 games):

1. Jordan - 32.0 (1991, 17 games)
2. Shaq --- 30.5 (2000, 23 games)
3. LeBron - 30.3 (2012, 23 games)

I'm sorry Geoge Mikan and The Dream got your boy beat in the history books. Want a tissue?

What your post does prove is that Lebron is fighting a losing battle trying to catch up to Jordan. He's getting older and you're getting desperate. Tik tok...tik tok..

You obviously don't understand...Small sample sizes ruin PER this is why GameScore is better for a smaller sample (on a series basis). You are using PER for 4 games (Hakeem, in a sweep :lol) versus an entire playoff run to a chip, which makes no sense. You would have to compare every single player's 1st round only to compare to Hakeem's but since LBJ never lost in the 1st round we don't have that info. WHOOPS

Please understand. Want a tissue?

"We let lebron go 1-on-1 in 09'.. We were fine giving him stats"

http://www.insidehoops.com/forum/showthread.php?t=466601

Lebron can't command double-teams due to weak jumper that rarely gets hot or requires getting the ball out of his hands; and his lack of off-ball game allows opponents to defend his long-dribble style, which is preferred over double-teaming and spurring ball-movement (Stan Van Gundy (http://www.insidehoops.com/forum/showthread.php?t=466601) and Kerr (https://i.makeagif.com/media/3-22-2019/6e5aBZ.gif) let him dribble away - they wanted the ball in his hands)..

so his weak jumper and long-dribble style prevents double-teaming and allows teammates to be guarded straight-up and locked down, like the 2009 ECF where he lost as the favorite, or the 2015 Finals where a better team effort would've beaten Curry/Klay (who are otherwise losers in the Finals, 8-10 without KD).
