4-7 with him in the lineup. Latest is that Irving will be out a few more weeks.

Listening to a podcast recently about this, the consensus of the three hosts was that it takes more time to adjust to a ball dominant scorer like Kyrie, but they will need him when they have difficulty closing out games.

Let's be real. They are playing better without kyrie.when Durant is back we can really talk about it. They are gonna play way different then

We've been telling you guys for years he's a poor mans Kemba :oldlol:

Jesus christ, just look at career franchise team killer Dwight rn

He's gonna get a Mozgov Max this summer, same with DellaCaruso

Lebron ball is simply the most career blossoming system to play under

While I don't disagree I think you're going a bit to far. As I said I want to see him with Durant. I feel like when he is playing with a great player like LeBron he can or they can win a chip

Yeah, I guess Kawhi was a franchise killer as well, since the Raptors played so well without him last year and even this season.

7 - 3 but 1 - 3 against teams above .500 without Irving. They wouldn't have started out 4 - 7 had the bench actually came to play early in the season.

KD while being far better than Irving, plays similarly like Irving

They're both ISO scorers, not playmakers.

Harden and Westbrook can coexist because they can still make plays for roleys

Durant and Irving taking turns playing tunnel vision is counter productive to making guys around them better and chemistry (on and off the court)

Nets are beating the same teams that Kyrie loses to, you don't say?

Weak East baby

Had Kyrie sat early in the season they would have started 7-4, just like their last 10

You should know as a Pelicans fan, their record is also better when Ingram sits

Irving is definitely a playmaker, one of the better ones in the league. Harden and Westbrook aren't better playmakers, they just hold onto the ball more which leads to higher assist and turnover numbers, Irving's averaging 7.2 assists to 2.4 TOs this season but doesn't dominate the ball on every possession like Harden/Westbrook do.

The difference for Brooklyn right now has been the lighter schedule and LeVert being injured as well, he was killing them early in the season.

Fair enough. I disagree but all good that's why we love this game

We lost to Detroit without Rose & Blake, Lost to Memphis, lost to the Timberwolves and barely beat the Knicks WITH Kyrie :lol

Without him we're destroying those same teams. Kyrie needs to buy into our system and stop trying to take over with his hero ball shit

You do realize you lost to the Wolves by 1 in a game where Kyrie had 50 and was a +18? Didn't one of your guys miss BOTH FTs in regulation to win that game? Didn't you also lose to Memphis by a late game-winner where Kyrie had 37 and was a +6, didn't Dinwiddie miss a FT to ice the game? Wasn't he also +7 in a 5-point loss to Utah?

He constantly sets up wide open 3s/layups for his teammates. Irving wasn't the issue when they were losing, it was LeVert constantly turning the ball over and the bench was struggling putting up any kind of offense, Irving was forced to score a lot because the rest of the team wasn't getting it done, the 2nd unit constantly shit the bed. The Nets should be beating the Bulls, Hornets, Cavs, Knicks, Hawks, without Irving, the win against Boston was impressive but other than that they've been beating worse teams as they should.

Kyrie is the one with the negative team rating whilst he's on the court not LeVert

If Kyrie decided to distribute the ball and play like a proper point guard instead of trying to takeover whilst completely isolating his wide open teammates, wouldn't of started the season 4-7

So explain to me how they lose games where Irving is a positive on the court? How is Irving such a bad player that the team is +18 with him on the court but get outscored by 19 points in 12 minutes against the Wolves? He always has 5+ assists and rarely turns the ball over, yet apparently he's a terrible passer and doesn't get his teammates involved, yeah ok.

Kyrie has an absolutely stunning on/off of +0.1 this year. Nice try, Im14be
