MJ. Better sample size. We know he can preform in the playoffs. Super clutch and all. Played in a era with crap spacing and hard for guards to drive. In turn, it was easier for him to play defense as well.

although he didn't have as refined of a skill set yet, like having a mid-range game as a consistent go-to move in his pallet, quite frankly the stats of 37 pts for the games combined with the loco defensive stats Jordan put up that year (he was setting all sorts of records both offensively and defensively) are too much to argue against despite the fact the opponents' defense was not there yet
