LeBron took the 08 Celtics to a gruelling 7 games at the age of 23

MJ at the same age got swept by the championship winning Celtics

No one cares about MJs empty stats he put up btw

How great was Lebron's team that they went 7 games despite Lebron at 26 on 35%?

And how weak was MJ's cast that 44 on 50% gets swept?

Washed up Big Z and Delonte West Vs Orlando Wooldridge who averaged 21ppg (more than any LeBron teammate before he joined Miami) and Charles Oakley :oldlol:

I know which pair I'd go with.

give LeBron a lethal scorer like Wooldridge by his side he wins in 07 & 08

LeThick also destroyed a top 7 defensive team in the Pistons to get there. LeElevate had to be MJ and Pippen rolled into one.

Part of what makes LeBron so great is that he has massive impact even when he’s not shooting well. You know this, so stop playing dumb.

His interior edge is real, but it doesn't overcome the ability to carry the scoreboard, which is what ultimately wins the game - Jordan's 5-point scoring edge on better efficiency rating and efficiency per possession is too much to overcome, even without considering his 50% clutch shot rate in the playoffs and Finals, versus 37% and 0% for Lebron.. or even without considering how MJ achieved his superior scoring rate while fitting with any teammate or system, thus allowing goat team ceilings.. 6/6, aka goat
.

Lebron simply wasn't good enough to carry true lottery casts to low seeds - he infact missed the playoffs 3 times with teams that were lottery the prior year

he only made the playoffs with good teams/high seeds, and therefore easy 1st round matchups
LeBron had a better team record than MJ in there 1st 2 seasons

Unfortunately LeBron didn't get the luxury of playing in a conference so pathetic that a 30-52 record is good enough to get the 8th seed :oldlol:

I'm not denying that Lebron could've just as easily been an 8 seed in those first 2 years rather than the 9 seed

But I'm just explaining why MJ"s 8 seeds got hammered and Lebron's high seeds didn't - it's because that's what happens to low seeds and high seeds - the low seeds get hammered and the high seeds do better - Lebron's low seeds would've been hammered too if they'd made the playoffs in 05'

Lebron was simply lucky to get carried to higher seeds/good teams every time he made the playoffs - he needed a 20-point all-defender sidekick and the future COY just to make the playoffs in 06', after missing in the previous 2 years with the East all-star center.

How am I a Lebron hater? :biggums: Jordan puts up twice the points on better efficiency but somehow Lebron played better. Not only did Lebron average 22 on bad shooting numbers but he also turned it over 6 times per game. That's as bad as it gets, considering his team actually was good enough to make the Finals.

LeBron took the 67 win Celtics to 7 games, Jordan got swept

LeBron also took a 64 win Pistons team to 7 games at the age of 21, Jordan got swept by the bad boys

Why do you sometimes act like ppg is the only measure of a players level of play?

So ppg and efficiency against champiobship calibre teams is the measure of who's better?

It's settled then. Kobe's outside the top 50.

25/12/2/3/2 on 48% and actually took 2 games from the Celts instead of getting swept

oh and this is after destroying the Showtime Lakers in 5 games and putting up 31/11/2/2/4 on 52% against Kareem

the dckriding is at an alltime high

dudes finals performance in 07 was arguably worse than 11. His teams defense and rebounding carried them

this dude was getting shut down by Bowen and putting up a brickhouse and feasting on turnovers while his teams defense and rebounding kept them in the games within a grasp of winning

if he wasnt complete garbage they wouldnt have gotten swept

What did Jordan or Kobe, or anyone for that matter do at the same age?

Jordan, for example, lost 3-1 to a team who got swept 4-0 in the next round.

LeBron was better and did more by age 22 than anyone in history. This is fact. And one poor series doesn't change it.

MJ got swept by the Celtics two years in a row, LeBron took them to 7 games and beat them a couple of years later
